Research Projects:

Robot Simulation

I'm interested in utilizing computer graphics to visualize and simulate intelligent robotics behavior and complex kinematics structures. Currently I'm using Softimage to design and simulate kinematics rigs in addition to implementing simple simulated sensing capabilities.

Unified system for robotic motion planning based on randomized sampling algorithms

This research is focused on developing practical and efficient system for solving path planning problems in high dimensions using sampling-based algorithms. The goal of this research is to be able to define and solve motion planning problems through a unified framework for different robotic structures.

Applying motion-planning algorithms for developing intelligent construction equipment

This research explores techniques for creating robotic construction equipments whose motion is generated automatically from high-level task commands. Applications are focused towards heavy construction equipment with complex articulation and dynamics (e.g. mega excavator, concrete pumps, tower and hydraulic cranes).
