Based on DirectSkeleton's services, DSK|ShaderBass® provides a flexible and easy-to-use development environment to develop real time shaders and custom effects.
DSK|ShaderBass® is plugged inside major 3D authoring packages to allow both artists and programmers full control and quick visualization of written shaders. The tight integration with the authoring software allows artists to control each aspect of the shader, allowing them to fulfill the final result easily. Shader parameters can be animated, scripted or attached to any port that updates parameter data in the 3D package's system.

DSK|ShaderBass® in Softimage®|XSI®
After writing the shader, it can be saved and exported to be directly used by the host 3D engine. Naturally, DirectSkeleton® is able to open and read those shaders along with their attached animations right to be used for rendering 3D objects.
