Querks are simple unidentified characters that have the ability to transform to furious animals like a lion for example, simply by putting up lion hair around their heads and wearing paws over their hands...

Technically, querks pose a rendering challenge since they are cute furry creatures, and fur is usually one of the most expensive things to render in 3D.
