As an emphasis on the multi-scale nature of architectural and musical structures, we have three levels of scale: an individual scale represented by separate notes and buildings; a local scale represented by the silhouette of the buildings and the vertical profile of the road, which reflects the vertical movement of the musical piece; and an urban scale acting on the spacing and mood of the environment.
